My Favorite Quotes

I absolutely love quotes. I thought I would actually start a collection of some that I find that I really like or are really an encouragement to me.

Quotes-

"If you don't deal with the issue, you'll always be dealing with the issue" Kelley McElreath

"Life is not a path of coincidence, happenstance, and luck, but rather an unexplainable, meticulously charted course for one to touch the lives of others and make a difference in the world"  Barbara Dillinham

"Whoever thought up the word " Mammogram "  ? Every time I hear it, I think I'm supposed  to put my breast in an envelope and send  it to someone."  -Jan King-

"Survivors are like tea bags: you don't know how strong we are until you dip us in hot water" ~ Kris Carr

"If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them. When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope? We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up, or fight like hell" ~Lance Armstrong

"Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do" - John Warden
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~ Marianne Williamson
